Regulation on the highest legal award "Lawyer of the Year"
December 2, 2010: Lawyer of the Year is Announced
The initiator and provider of the "Lawyer of the Year” distribution award became the All-Russian Public Organization “Association of Lawyers of Russia”. The ceremony henceforth will be held annually in early December, during the celebration of the professional holiday - Day of the Lawyer. The winner of the title "Lawyer of the Year" may be any representative of the legal career, which have contributed to the establishment of a legal state in the Russian Federation. This year the prize was awarded to a man whose greatest contribution to the legal system of modern Russia is incontestable among the juridical community. The title of the Lawyer of the Year was conferred upon an outstanding Russian lawyer, one of the leading authors of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Civil Code, Doctor of Juridical Science - Sergey Sergeevich Alexeev. The award ceremony took place in the hometown of the winner - in Ekaterinburg, on December, 4, this year. At the ceremonial meeting of the Central Council of the Association of Lawyers of Russia distribution of the awards of the Association of Lawyers of Russia and the Council of Federation of the Russian Federation to the distinguished during that year lawyers also took place. |
